We had this fruit last night which is new to us. It has a thick skin and a big pit. It has a taste of its own but somewhat like a mango and apricot? We only bought one to try but will get more next time. I think we managed to log about 5 miles on the road today. We worked until it got too hot. We came home and took a break and then headed the other direction to the store. We needed to grab snacks for the assembly tomorrow. After that we went back out on some calls but no one was home unfortunately. I worked with the Morrison mother and daughter today. I've really been enjoying getting to know the sisters. Reggie talked to a Brother out in the savannah today. I think we are planning a trip into the interior to Lethem in April. We want to see a little more of the country while we are here. It is about a 15 hour bus journey through the jungle then the savannah. I was laughing really hard while Reggie was trying to talk to the brother over all the noise. At the front of the house you have roaring traffic and honking non-stop. So he went to the back of the house to get some relief. But.... do you know how loud a donkey brays??? Loud! then add the barking puppies and the ridiculously loud guinnnea hens and what a party. You can't even pretend to sound dignified. It is very difficult to find quiet in this place. But it does make for a good laugh. Well lots to do to get ready for the assembly tomorrow. Better get at it. Only 2 hours of daylight. K&T
