Today is an off day. We don't have meeting tonight because it is an assembly weekend. We are running low on groceries so decided to walk up to the produce stand. The one we like has been closed for a few days and the same was true today. So on a little farther to the next one. It is about a mile each way. When we got there we were disappointed that they didn't have grapefruit. That is one of the most refreshing fruits when it is hot. So we got tomatoes and cukes, pineapple, watermelon and a momy. The momy is new to us. Well let you know after we try it what we think. The woman at this produce stand asked if we "walked with any story books." Her name is Feona. We apologized that we didn't walk with any thing but will be glad to bring her the magazines on our return. I guess we had better start being prepared at all times. Everyone knows who we are. I made dahl with griddle bread and fried chicken for dinner last night. It was pretty good but heavy for how hot it is. I need more fruit. I looked out the bedroom window before dark last night and noticed that our neighbor has a parrot. He is huge, a blue and gold macaw. He is the kind that is shipped for sale. But Reggie told me they saw an endangered wild one in service a couple of days ago. (He never told me that) It is a green and gold that lives not far from the road, probably about 40 years old. Sometime I will try and get a picture of him. So someone asked for pictures of the road coming and going from our house. I will post pictures of us going shopping today and the parrot next door. R&K
